TERMS & CONDITIONS

By taking part in the JCO Run 2026 (the "EVENT "), including but not limited to register through the website, the participant ("INDIVIDUAL ") accepts and agrees to abide by the rules and regulations, terms and conditions of the EVENT as sanctioned by the Race Management ( "Organizer ") and J.CO Indonesia ("J.CO INDONESIA ").

  1. The INDIVIDUAL affirms the accuracy of all information provided on the registration form. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to require the INDIVIDUAL to present their official identity documents (e.g. national identity card, passport, driver's license, or KITAS) in order to participate in the EVENT, if deemed necessary. Should there be discrepancies found by the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA, INDIVIDUAL may be disqualified from the EVENT.
     
  2. INDIVIDUALS are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during the registration. If the data, information and/or documents submitted by the INDIVIDUALS are incorrect and/or incomplete, the ORGANIZER and J.CO INDONESIA shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the inaccuracy of such data, information and/or documents, nor for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate data, information and/or documents.
     
  3. The INDIVIDUAL acknowledges and assumes full responsibility for and takes on all risks of health related conditions, bodily injury, death, accidents, paralysis, and/or loss of or damage to the INDIVIDUAL property that may suffer or incur from participating in this EVENT. Such risks may arise before, during, or after the INDIVIDUAL competes and/or participates in the EVENT. The INDIVIDUAL is strongly advised to undergo a medical examination and/or consult with a medical doctor prior to registration and before the day of the event.
     
  4. Pursuant to the risks undertaken by the INDIVIDUAL, the INDIVIDUAL releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Organizer/promoters, J.CO INDONESIA, EVENT sponsors and EVENT PR agency, participating associations, sanctioning organizations, (or any affiliates thereof), officials, car owners, drivers, sponsors, advertisers, owners, lessees, and lessors of the premises, as well as their officers, agents, and employees involved in the organization of the EVENT in respect of any liability arising from the provision of emergency assistance and/or rescue services, to the extent such release and limitation of liability are permitted under applicable law.
     
  5. In the event that Force Majeure occurs beyond the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA’s control, including but not limited to natural disasters, rain, storm, flood, earthquakes, fire, pandemics, riots, war, regulatory changes and/or government restrictions, terrorism or other events that may affect the EVENT, the INDIVIDUAL acknowledges that they may not make a claim against the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA for compensation for any losses arising as a result of such force majeure events and/or the non-holding of the EVENT.
     
  6. Once registration has been duly processed, there is no registration fee refund for the INDIVIDUAL who eventually can’t attend the EVENT. Race slots are neither transferrable to other people and the INDIVIDUAL is restricted to upgrade or downgrade the race category.
     
  7. The INDIVIDUAL must show the email that contains the registration confirmation with 1 (one) government-issued ID upon the race pack collection. If the race pack is collected on behalf of the INDIVIDUAL by another person, the person collecting the race pack must present a letter of authorization accompanied by copies of the identification documents of both the INDIVIDUAL and their representative.
     
  8. The race packet must be collected on the scheduled days. No requests of collecting the race pack thereafter will be entertained.
     
  9. INDIVIDUALS under 15 years of age must claim the race pack together with a parent or legal guardian. The Parent or legal guardian will be asked to sign a waiver and present a valid government-issued ID.
     
  10. INDIVIDUALS who miss the flag-off time of their category will not be allowed to participate and will automatically be disqualified from the race. Likewise, INDIVIDUALS who commence before the actual start time of his/her category will be disqualified.
     
  11. INDIVIDUALS must wear the assigned Race BIB Number. INDIVIDUALS who are not wearing a Race BIB Number will be taken off the course by security officers and the race marshals.
     
  12. Race routes may be subject to changes for safety and traffic reasons.
     
  13. All winners must be physically present to receive their awards and prizes during the awards ceremony. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA have the right to forfeit the prizes (whether in cash or other kind) of winners who are not physically present during the awards ceremony.
     
  14. Prize winners are required to present personal identification that is validated by the Organizer and J.CO INDONESIA to claim their awards and prizes.
     
  15. The Organizer and J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to cancel, change, substitute or remove the prizes at any time with notice to the INDIVIDUAL.
     
  16. All prizes whether in cash or non-cash form, are personal to the INDIVIDUAL and may not be transferred to any other party. In particular, prizes awarded in non-cash form, including merchandise, vouchers, services, and/or other benefits, may not be exchanged for cash, unless otherwise determined by the ORGANIZER.
     
  17. The Organizer reserves the right to require the INDIVIDUAL to present their official identification documents (eg identification card, passport or driver's license) necessary to support the disputes or appeals made.
     
  18. By participating in this EVENT, the INDIVIDUAL are deemed to give their consent to the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA to record their participation in the EVENT in the form of photographs or videos and to understand that such documentation may be used by the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA as the reference/ communication and publication material relating to the EVENT or similar activities in the future. Furthermore, the INDIVIDUAL are also deemed to have granted written permission to the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA to collect, analyze, examine, manage, use and disclose information to third parties collaborating with or appointed by the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA.
     
  19. The ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to limit and/or refuse entry to the EVENT by any INDIVIDUAL for any reason, including but not limited to situations where an INDIVIDUAL fails to meet the specified requirements, provides false information, breaches the terms and conditions of the EVENT, previously committed a breach during other running events apart from the EVENT, and/or on the considerations of safety, order and the successful implementation of the EVENT.
     
  20. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions based on the Organizer’s and/or J.CO INDONESIA’s discretion and without prior notification. Any such amendment, and/or update shall be communicated to the INDIVIDUAL through the communication channels designated by the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA. The INDIVIDUAL shall be responsible for periodically checking the applicable Terms and Conditions through the official website of the EVENT.
     
  21. The ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to postpone, modify, and/or discontinue the EVENT based on considerations of safety and security, Force Majeure circumstances, instructions or directives from the relevant authorities, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA. Any such change shall, where reasonably practicable, be communicated to the INDIVIDUAL through the communication channels designated by the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA. If the EVENT is cancelled, the INDIVIDUAL shall not be entitled to any refund of the registration fee, unless the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA, at their discretion, determine otherwise. The ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, inconvenience, or other consequences arising from or in connection with such cancellation.
     
  22. The INDIVIDUAL acknowledges and agrees that if any INDIVIDUAL fails to collect the BIB within the specified time (during Race pack Collection on 24 – 28 August 2026 on 11.00 – 19.00 WIB/GMT+7) unless the INDIVIDUAL provides prior confirmation to the Organizers and/or J.CO INDONESIA, the BIB will be declared forfeited/unusable by the INDIVIDUAL.
     
  23. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA may provide a baggage and/or bag storage facility for INDIVIDUAL at a designated location and during such period as determined by the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA. The INDIVIDUALS are prohibited from depositing cash, valuables, or any other items of significant value at the storage facility.
     
  24. The INDIVIDUALS shall remain responsible for any items deposited at the storage facility and shall ensure that such items do not include any valuables. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or other losses arising out of or in connection with the use of the baggage and/or bag storage facility.
     
  25. The INDIVIDUALS shall collect any deposited items and/or bags before the expiry of the collection deadline determined by the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA. Upon expiry of such deadline, the safekeeping and storage of the deposited items and/or bags shall remain the sole responsibility of the INDIVIDUALS and the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA shall not be liable for any loss of or damage
     
  26. All copyrights and other intellectual property rights, if any, in relation to any images, photographs, articles, timing records, and location information relating to or generated in connection with the EVENT, including the right to use such materials for publication and documentation purposes, shall vest in the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA. Such use may include, without limitation, the INDIVIDUAL’s name and other personal information, such as the INDIVIDUAL’s age and general location, including country, province, and city.
     
  27. The INDIVIDUAL acknowledges and understands that the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA may process Personal Data and shall apply the principles of Personal Data Protection in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, as amended from time to time (the “PDP Law”), its implementing regulations, and any other applicable laws and regulations or requirements issued by the relevant authorities from time to time.
     
  28. By having such a situation, INDIVIDUAL releases the organizers and J.CO INDONESIA from any kind of responsibility and/or liability in any form of compensation.
     
  29. Any INDIVIDUAL who conducts fundraising or similar activities during or in connection with the EVENT shall be solely responsible for such activities, including compliance with any applicable obligations and obtaining any permits or approvals that may be required. The ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or other issues arising out of or in connection with such fundraising or similar activities.
     
  30. These Terms and Conditions are created in both Indonesian and English. In the event of any inconsistencies or conflicts between the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian version shall prevail.
     

RACE RULES

  1. INDIVIDUALS must wear the assigned BIB number on his/her chest, which shall include an official Timing Tag. INDIVIDUALS who are not wearing a BIB number will be taken off the course by security officers/officials or the Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA.
     
  2. The INDIVIDUAL shall commence the race in accordance with the applicable race category and designated start time. The official race time shall be determined based on the Gun Time, being the official commencement time of the race, while the INDIVIDUAL’s Net Time shall be recorded using the official Timing Tag from the time the INDIVIDUAL crosses the starting line until the INDIVIDUAL crosses the finish line. The ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to disqualify any INDIVIDUAL who fails to commence the race in accordance with the applicable race category or designated start time.
     
  3. Any INDIVIDUAL who uses more than 1 (one) official timing tag may be disqualified, and any recorded time associated with such INDIVIDUAL may be declared invalid.
     
  4. In the event that an official timing chip cannot be detected or a technical malfunction results in the INDIVIDUAL’s time not being recorded, the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right to conduct such examination and verification as it deems necessary to determine the validity of the race results and/or the INDIVIDUAL’s participation status.
     
  5. The INDIVIDUAL must complete the full course of each race category from the start until finish within the required time/Cut-Off Time (hereinafter referred to as “COT”) to get the finisher medal and finisher tee in accordance with the ORGANIZER’s requirements. The INDIVIDUAL who failed to reach the finish line (DNF) are not entitled to get finisher medal and finisher tee.
     
  6. The COT for each category is as follows:
    • 5K: 1 hour past 30 minutes
    • 10K: 2 hours

     
  7. Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, wheelchair, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel run objects other than official race and medical vehicles are not allowed on the course.
     
  8. Partial road closure and/or traffic arrangements in connection with the EVENT will end at 08.00 WIB. Upon the expiration of the route closure period, any INDIVIDUAL who continues participating in the EVENT does so with full understanding of and at their own risk for any risks arising from traffic conditions and the use of public roads. The Organizer and/or J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right, at any time, to adjust and/or end the route closure earlier than scheduled based on the ORGANIZER’s and/or J.CO INDONESIA’s discretion, taking into consideration safety concerns, on-site conditions, and/or instructions from the relevant authorities.
     
  9. The INDIVIDUAL must withdraw from the race immediately, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, Race Director, Marshal and/or Security Officer.
     
  10. The INDIVIDUAL who successfully complete the race (10K and 5K) will be awarded a finisher's medal upon presentation of their BIB Number to the respective officials at the medal collection counter.
     
  11. Winners are restricted to Indonesian citizens only.
     
  12. All Finisher's medals and finisher tee must be collected on race day. No requests thereafter will be entertained.
     
  13. Each INDIVIDUAL is entitled to received only one prize-money award. An INDIVIDUAL who qualifies as a winner in more than one category may elect to receive his/her award in the category offering higher prize-money. Regardless of the winning INDIVIDUAL's choice of prize-money, his/her finishing positions in each of the relevant categories shall remain unchanged and shall be recorded in accordance with the results of the EVENT. The prize-money award for any category not selected by the INDIVIDUAL shall be awarded to the next eligible INDIVIDUAL in the relevant ranking, based on the results of the EVENT as verified by the ORGANIZER and/or J.CO INDONESIA.
     
  14. For prize winners or possible prize winners, disputes and appeals must be made immediately within 30 (thirty) minutes of the published results on the results notice board on-site or immediately after the prize winners announcement, whichever is earlier, failing which the Organizer and J.CO INDONESIA reserves the right not to entertain any disputes or appeals thereafter.
     
  15. For all other INDIVIDUAL other than podium winners, any disputes and appeals regarding the results must be submitted in writing including electronic mail within 7 days of the Race Day. The Organizer and J.CO INDONESIA reserve the right not to process any dispute or appeal submitted after 6 September 2026.
     
  16. The Organizer's and/or J.CO INDONESIA’s decision is final. No further correspondence or arguments will be entertained.
